New Men’s Grooming Section
With the rapid growth in popularity of men’s grooming and skincare products, Shopping-Bargains.com created a new Men’s Grooming sub-department under our Health & Beauty section. This section currently features ZIRH, Grooming Lounge, and Bosley with more companies coming soon.
ZIRH has been featured on Shopping-Bargains.com since 2004 and provides our shoppers with a variety of coupon codes and promotions including some exclusive coupon codes. They write:

New Deal Sort Feature on the Homepage
Earlier this week we added some new features on the Shopping-Bargains.com homepage to make it easier for shoppers to view and sort all our featured coupon codes and deals. Out of the thousands of deals available at Shopping-Bargains.com, featured deals are ones that have been hand-selected by the editors of Shopping-Bargains.com based on their popularity and/or bargain value. At any given time there are about 100 featured deals. The new features make it easier to review them all, start shopping or quickly dig deeper for more information.
By default, featured deals are ranked by popularity (see example above). In addition to popularity, shoppers can sort these deals alphabetically, by time added (to show the newest ones on top), and by expiration date (to show the ones expiring soonest on top). Shopping-Bargains.com Debuts Deal Squeal Alerts
The Shopping-Bargains.com newsletter is now called the Deal Squeal™. It has been enhanced to better provide shoppers with quick email alerts about new coupons and deals they can take advantage of now.
Deal Squeal™ Alerts are sent once daily or weekly via email depending on the frequency preferences of those signing up for them. Deal Squeal™ Alerts contain an easy-to-read customizable and categorized summary of the newest coupon codes and bargains available online.
Shoppers signing up for Deal Squeal™ Alerts are encouraged to customize their alert preferences. Thirty-three (33) deal categories are available to choose from and two alert frequencies are provided — once daily (Monday through Saturday) and once weekly (Sunday). These preferences can be changed as often as one wishes so please add or remove deal categories or change alert frequencies to your heart’s delight.
We’re very excited about these changes and look forward to continuing to provide our shoppers with the best deals and online shopping information so they can make more financially savvy purchases. As always, we guard customer privacy by asking for very little information and then not selling or sharing that information.

Fandango Movie Tickets Prize Awarded
A couple weeks ago I announced that Fandango was sponsoring a prize challenge where one of our newsletter readers would win 4 free movie tickets. We had a number of responses to this challenge and now have a winner.
I’m pleased to announce that Kathy Marshall from Ticonderoga, NY is our winner. When I emailed her and told her she won the movie tickets from Fandango she sent me a kind reply. With her permission I share it with our readers.
My family and I live in a very rural area, about an hour or so away from any major shopping areas. So, when we need go to the “big city” (as we call it), we tend to plan ahead and make a list of stops we need to make. To make the day more enjoyable, before we leave, we’ll check out what’s playing at the movies and purchase our tickets at Fandango, so we’re all set! So, needless to say, we are REALLY going to enjoy these tickets! AFO/FPO Shipping Info Added to Help Military Families
Last night we added a couple of new features to Shopping-Bargains.com that I’m particularly excited about. One feature was specifically created for military families shopping online. The other feature is for everyone.
Our new military-friendly feature was designed to assist military personnel and their families shop from online stores that ship beyond our national borders via AFO/FPO (Air/Army Post Office or Fleet Post Office) or military shipping. We wanted to make it easy for our military customers to tell at-a-glance if a store offered AFO/FPO shipping.
Since some stores do AFO/FPO shipping and some will not it can be frustrating to fill an online shopping cart only to find out during checkout that you will have to look elsewhere since they don’t ship to military addresses outside the country. Thus we added a simple “information pane” with this information. This information pane (see example on the left) resides in an upper right hand section on each store’s main page — the page that contains all that store’s coupons and deals.

Pet Care Department Expanded
In an effort to make it easier for our shoppers to find great deals in the area of pet supplies and pet medications, the Pet Care department at Shopping-Bargains.com has been expanded and reorganized. The following new sections were added and/or amended today: Dog Accessories, Fish & Aquarium, Horse & Equestrian, and Small Pets & Birds.
The Dog Accessories section is new and designed to focus exclusively on a growing array of products and gifts for dogs and dog owners. The other three sections were previously combined under one group but are now separated to provide better coverage for stores within each niche area.
