Apparel and Jewelry Departments Split

Sometimes it seems like we’re bursting at the seams with great deals and new stores. After four years of growth under our current infrastructure, this was especially the case for our Apparel & Jewelry shopping department. It became evident it was time to split it into two distinct shopping departments to better focus on these distinct interest areas.

So today we created a Jewelry & Watches department and moved our Diamonds & Engagement Rings, Fine Jewelry, and Watches categories there. Within this department we also created a new Fashion Jewelry category for less expensive and costume jewelry selections.

On the apparel side of things, our former Apparel & Jewelry department was renamed Apparel & Shoes. Under this department we created a new Denim & Jeans category to better cater to this special interest area. This new category also compliments our recently created Designer Brand Clothing and Urban Clothing categories.

In other news, we also added a Movies category under our Books & Media department to support our growing listing of movie ticket sellers (you can buy movie tickets online instead of waiting in line at the theater), video on demand providers (legally download hit movies), and DVD providers.
