At Shopping-Bargains.com we frequently have a prize contest where we award one of our shoppers or newsletter readers with a gift certificate or product prize. Our next prize opportunity is for an Apex Technologies “quick pitch” hexagon-shaped tent (item #88166). By quick pitch, I mean you can set up and break this tent down in less than 20 seconds. Incredibly fast in my book and accomplished via a patented Quick Pitch Hub system. It’s a 3-season, 6-person tent and weighs 15.5 pounds. To be honest, I’m so excited about this prize that I’d like to keep it myself but I told our sponsor, Sierra Trading Post, I would award it to one of our newsletter readers so I’ll keep my word.
Right now this tent is selling in the Sierra Trading Post Bargain Barn at the clearance price of $99.95 (retail price is $250). This tent will be awarded to one of our newsletter readers (you can subscribe now) in late August or early September.
Prize entry is accomplished by answering a few questions sent out in both our daily and weekly editions of the newsletter. We’ll draw the winner’s name from among those with correct answers and the winner will be announced in an upcoming newsletter. Additional details about the winner may be posted later on this blog as well.

As announced in the newsletter on September 6, Don P. from Plymouth, Massachusetts was the winner of this tent.
